Equine Fine Art Photography
Create gallery-quality horse portraits and custom equine artwork designed to be displayed, not forgotten on a screen. These fine art equine photography sessions use controlled lighting, simple backgrounds, and professional editing to showcase your horse’s structure, expression, and presence.
Most phone photos miss the true proportions and detail that make a horse special. A dedicated equine fine art session allows your full attention to be on your horse, while I guide you through positioning and setup during the horse photoshoot to create polished, intentional portraits that reflect your horse at their best.
White or black background equine fine art portraits are available, offering a clean, timeless style that highlights your horse’s character without distractions. These portraits are especially well suited for classic wall art and collector-style pieces.
A black or white background fine art session includes 20 minutes of shooting time and four high-resolution, professionally edited final images for $325. Individual fine art images may also be purchased for $60 a la carte when added to a horse and rider photo session.
For ideal lighting and consistent results, gallery-quality equine fine art sessions are photographed in a barn aisle. Final images are crafted with the intention of becoming fine art prints, framed artwork, metal prints, or canvas pieces for display in homes, offices, or barns.
STEP 1
Before each shoot we will go over session details and you'll receive a preparation guide as well. For fine art images, it's best to have a barn and alleyway.
STEP 2
During the session,
I will direct your horse into being set up for its
best angles and positions.
STEP 3
Favorite images will be chosen for digital and physical artwork.
All packages include a private online gallery with fully edited,
high-resolution photos.
Equine Marketing
It may be an emotional time, selling your horse, or it may be vital to professionally capture the horse's conformation and gaits. You'll want excellent photos showcasing your horse in its highest form.
For six standing photos, the shoot would be $175. This includes four angles and close-ups.
To display your horse’s movement, we would add in six action photos to total $250.
This could be two directions of each gait or a mix of multiple photos of specific gaits.
Finally, to provide a complete overview of your horse’s ability, we would do a video package totaling $400. These could be short social media clips or longer video sections.
