Haflinger Fine Art – GA Equine Photographer

I was lucky enough to take fine art, black background equine portraits of a Haflinger near Atlanta, Georgia, funnily enough named Tommy Haflinger. He is an 11 or 12-year-old gelding, and the family has had him for three years. They found him when their daughter Rosie was looking for her next pony. He was very green, so Addie, her older sister, rode him for about a year before Rose began sharing the ride.

They currently fox hunt and show jump together, with both sisters sharing time on him. He is very athletic and smart, quickly learning new skills. If you tell him he can do it, he can do it. Although he is not overly affectionate, he has a silly personality, something that makes him very special to his family. He will have a lifetime spot in their herd, and they wouldn’t trade him for the world.
