1. Outfit Options (2–3 Looks)
Variety is key! Plan a few outfits that reflect different sides of your personality—think casual, dressy, and something totally “you.”
Tips:
Choose outfits you feel confident and comfortable in.
Stick to solid colors or subtle patterns that photograph well.
Bring outfits on hangers to avoid wrinkles.
Don’t forget the right undergarments for each look!
Consider choosing outfits to go with certain locations
2. Shoes + Accessories
Complete each outfit with shoes and accessories that fit the vibe. The little details make a big difference in photos.
Think:
Jewelry (keep it simple and timeless)
Hats, belts, jackets, vests or statement pieces for layers
The right shoes for each outfit—plus comfy shoes for walking between spots
3. Props That Represent You
Want your photos to feel personal? Bring props that show off what makes you, you.
Ideas include:
Sports gear or uniforms
Instruments or hobby items
Cap & gown or class ring
Your pet! I love to include four-legged best friends in senior shoots, whether it's a cat, dog, horse or livestock.
4. Touch-Up Kit
Stay photo-ready throughout your shoot with a few touch-up essentials.
Pack:
Hairbrush or comb
Hairspray or bobby pins
Lip balm or gloss
Powder or blotting sheets
Safety pins or fashion tape, just in case
5. Water + Snacks
It sounds simple, but if you’re like me, staying hydrated and energized makes a huge difference—especially during longer outdoor sessions.
Quick Tip: Choose snacks that aren’t messy (no chocolate or Cheetos!) and bring a bottle of water to keep you feeling fresh.
