Kloe's Sheep Senior Portraits | GA Senior Photographer

Updated: Nov 6

Kloe’s senior photography session was a heartfelt blend of personality and livestock pride. We focused mainly on candid, connection-driven images with her 4-H market lambs, while mixing in a few show-style shots and individual senior portraits to round out Kloe’s senior sheep story.

We began near their peaceful pond with her 126-pound wether, CAB. From the dock to a weeping willow tree to a bench, we captured relaxed moments that showed just how much she loves her sheep. Having shown sheep for six years now, Kloe is a fierce competitor, especially succeeding in showmanship at the Georgia state level. Her hard work, skill and dedication to raising her five lambs really stood out.

After an outfit and location change, we captured some individual senior portrait photos. Then we brought out her February ewe, Cookie—an 84-pound sweetheart who made the perfect snuggle buddy beneath their blooming trees. I focused on photographing the quiet, loving moments between them, ending with a final hug. I even got to brace Cookie myself, which brought back memories of my own 4-H days.

These livestock senior portraits weren’t about stiff poses or perfect lighting that day. They were about celebrating the bond between a senior and the animals she’s raised with love and grit. It was an honor to capture her senior sheep story.

View a few images from her session and read a little bit more about Kloe below.

A little more about Kloe, her current flock and sheep experience:

  • CAB - Black Face Cross wether

  • Cookie – a Commercial White Face ewe eligible for GA Born and Bred classes

  • CECIL - a Dorset wether

  • Checkmate and Copycat – both Black Face Cross ewes

The market lamb season ends in October at the GA National Fair. After that, Kloe will show breeding ewes until the final 4-H/FFA Georgia state show in February. Her position as a Georgia Club Lamb Association board member further highlights her dedication to the GA sheep industry.
